🚀 2026 WiseTech Global Programming Competition

Promoter

The competition is conducted by KIK Innovation, ABN 57 608 306 350, located at 33 Franklin Street Adelaide, Australia.

Eligibility

• Open to residents of Australia.
• Entrants must be aged 13 or over, or have parental/guardian consent if younger than 13 years, per the Grok Academy Terms of Use.
• Employees of the promoter and their immediate families are not eligible to enter.

Competition Period

The competition period refers to:

• WiseTech Global Programming Competition window opens on 14 August at 5:00pm AEST 2026 and closes on 15 August at 5:00pm AEST 2026.
• The competition period also includes reference to additional prizes associated with participation in the WiseTech Global Advanced Python competition. The period in which the additional prizes are eligible to be earned is from 27 July – 30 August 2026.
• Late entries will not be accepted.

Entry Requirements

• To enter, participants must register for and complete the WiseTech Global Programming Competition by marking/submitting code in the Grok Academy learning interface.
• Participants must be proctored using Grok Academy’s approved extension in order to be eligible for prize money.
• Only one submitted competition per person per round is permitted.
• The competition must be completed solely by the registered entrant.

Judging Criteria

• This is a competition based solely on the results obtained by the registrant of the competition. Chance plays no part in determining the winner, with no random draws.
• Each question will have marks allocated per test case, with partial marks achieved.
• Judges reserve the right to rule that a specific answer to a question is invalid if it undermines the problem, e.g. hardcoding specific responses.
• In the case of a tie among equal-scoring registrants the winner will be based on the earliest time that the highest-scoring submission was made.
• To be eligible for prizing you must be proctored for the entire duration of the competition. If you are not proctored during the competition, you may still be able to compete, at the promoter's discretion, but you will not be eligible to win cash prizes.
• Judging decisions are final, with no appeal possible.

Prize

• The winners will receive cash prizes to be paid via e-gift card or similar at the promoter’s discretion.
• The total cash prize awarded to each participant will be the sum of the prizes assigned to each round.
• To be eligible for prizing you must be proctored for the entire duration of the competition. If you are not proctored during the competition, you may still be able to compete, at the promoter's discretion, but you will not be eligible to win cash prizes.

• The terms of the WiseTech Global Programming Competition and the rewards provided for here are at the sole discretion of WiseTech Global and may be varied at any time prior to the 15th of August.
• Additional benefits may include:

  • Job Interviews and offers to the WiseTech Global Earn and Learn program for high achievers
• The promoter reserves the right to:
  • Invite top performers to a future invitational competition based on performance

Notification

• The winners will be notified via email within 45 days of the judging after the WiseTech Global Programming Competition closes.
• If the winner does not respond within 14 days, the promoter reserves the right to select an alternative winner.

Use of Entries and Personal Information

• By entering, you grant the promoter a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use your entry for promotional purposes.
• Personal information provided will be used in accordance with our Privacy Policy and only for the administration of this competition.

General Conditions

• The promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process or breaches these terms, for example plagiarism, collusion, multiple entries, or any other conduct reasonably deemed inappropriate by the promoter.
• The promoter reserves the right to amend or cancel the competition at any time for any reason.

Governing Law

• These terms are governed by the laws of NSW, Australia.
